1. I am grateful for Hailey and Ally's Teachers-past, curent, and future. I think it is great for all of those friends of mine and others who home school, but it is just not for me. When I try to teach my kids I get frustrated when they don't understand what I want them to, they get upset, and it just doesn't work out for anyone.
2. I am grateful for the most awesome bus driver, Robin. She has been my kid's bus driver for two years, and she is great. She drops them off right at my door in the afternoon, and she cares about the kids so much. One day she even waited while Hailey slowly trudged down the street to the bus when she was late.
3. I am grateful for all of the cute girls in my neighborhood who I have come over and babysit for me. My girls LOVE to have babysitters, and it makes it so much easier to leave them knowing that they are happy. They all do such a great job playing with the girls and taking care of them.

This is getting trickier
1. I am grateful for the United States of America. It may not be perfect, but it is a pretty great place to live.
2. I am grateful that today it is warm enough that I can hear the snow melting.
3. I am grateful that Robin (my sister-in-law that lives on my street) lets me come over to her house every morning, with my kids, to do step aerobics with her.

It's My Birthday
Today is my 28th birthday. Allan surprised me by taking the day off and bringing me breakfast in bed. He also took me to lunch and a movie, and got me a pearl necklace that I was wanting. It was really sweet of him to make this day special for me. I also noticed when I came to post that he tried posting on my blog, but I don't think he quite figured it out. It was a sweet thought.

Back in Action
Ooops, I already missed a day, I always get thrown off on the weekend, oh well.
1. Modern conveniences, I am so happy for my washer and dryer, and my dishwasher, and for a car, and for diapers, and for so many other things that make my life easier.
2. My kids love eachother! My girls are such good friends, they play together, laugh together, and watch out for eachother. I am not saying we wouldn't love to add a boy in there someday, but I love having girls.
3. This is going to be a long one because I am going to write it down, and I hope you will take the time to read it, especially if you don't know what I believe, and because I don't share it enough. I am grateful for my testimony: I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and who sent His Son, Jesus Christ to be an example of how I should live. I know that he atoned for all of the sins of the world, and that He would have done this even if it was just for me. I know that because of this I can be forgiven when I repent, and can return to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus again. I know that because Allan and I were sealed(married) together in the Temple, our family will be together forever, and we can be like our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that he saw a vision, and restored the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth in it's fullness, including translating the Book of Mormon. I know that we have a prophet, Thomas S. Monson, on this earth today who leads the church through continuing divine revelation. I know the Bible and the Book of Mormon are divine scripture and work together to teach me and bring me closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus as I read and study them. I know that motherhood is a divine calling and that it is my responsibility to teach my children correct principles and to live as an example to them. I know that I can always pray to my Heavenly Father and he will listen and answer my prayers. I have prayed about all of these things, and have felt in my heart that they are true. This knowledge blesses my life everyday. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

BOWS!!
I started last week making hair bows for my girls. This is something I have not wanted to do for a long time, I don't know if I was afraid of the time or money commitment or what but now that I have started it is addicting, I wish I was doing it right now! My friends Zoe and Arin pretty much showed me how to make all of these bows, they are the creative ones! Yesterday I went to The Ribbon Retreat and got new ribbon. This store is online and people from everywhere buy ribbon, but it is about 20 minutes away from my house so I went in and it is amazing. I ended up getting a convenience pack with a bunch of basic colors, and a couple of grab bags that are stuffed with pieces of ribbon. Anyway, I have plenty of ribbon to last me for a while. I made doubles of some, but I made all these bows in about 4 hours. Not too much time and not too much money either!
