Crafts

Just some things I have been up to.
This is a vinyl saying I got from my friend Janae at thoughtsinvinyl.com I finally got it hung so I thought I would throw it on here too.
These 7 blocks each have 6 different letters and can spell at least 40 different words like: welcome, harvest, friends, faith, family, spooky, blessed, snow, home, hope, monster, mother, dream, easter, new year, luck, summer, love, believe, fall, turkey, spring, joy/hope, special, peace, christ, thanks, cougars, swim, each of my kids names and many more! This is a FHE board I made at Super Saturday. I still need to make magnets with our names on them, I just got the vinyl for the names.
These two pictures are the same project, just opposite sides, another Super Saturday project.
My other Super Saturday project was this Halloween one.
I picked up these three pumpkins at a store in Utah called Wood Connection and painted them.
This witch is also one I got from Wood Connection.
This is a project I found on a craft blog and copied, yea for my cricut!
These three were ones I made at one of our ward craft groups. My good friend Zoe designed the witch. Check her other projects out at cheekybanditcrafts.blogspot.com
These last two are more from Wood Connection.

I still have a few more things that I am working on including the Turkey Lurkey from Zoe's blog and I think on the back of my Give Thanks project I am going to do a Tis' the Season.

Preschool Firehouse Trip

This week we went to the Fire Station with Natalie's preschool.
First the Firemen took them in and talked to them about fire safety and the difference between toys and tools.
Then they got to go in and look at the fire trucks.
They got to get in, but Natalie reached for the keys and someone said not to touch them so she got upset and this was the best picture I could get after that.
She did however enjoy popping the bubble wrap they found in a (very clean) trash can.

Tiffany and Rob's Wedding

Last weekend we went to Allan's cousin Tiffany's wedding. It was wonderful and Tiffany was so happy. We were excited to share her day.
Tiffany got married on a Friday (I'm not complaining, I chose a Thursday) so Allan took the day off. We were planning on taking everyone down to Utah, but with the flu my kids had already missed so much school we asked our wonderful friends to let Hailey and Ally spend the night at their house so they could go to school on Friday. Then at ballet, we found out the 3 older girls all had a Saturday morning practice so we asked if Natalie could stay at my Sister-in-law's house and we went down to Utah with just Lilly!
I am pretty sure Lilly had a fabulous time. We met my Dad for lunch in Salt Lake before the wedding, and while we were in the temple Lilly went with Papa to his house and got all of his attention.
Then we went and picked her up and went over to the reception. She was so excited to have Mommy and Daddy all to herself!
At the reception, Lilly enjoyed doing things like taking her shoes on and off,
Wandering around smiling at people,
stuffing her face with marshmallows,
and drinking Hot Chocolate!

Trick-or-Treat

Another Halloween Post. The girls got great use out of their costumes this year, on Tuesday we went to our ward carnival, then on Thursday we went to the school carnival,(the first costume pictures) then on Friday we dressed up and went to visit Allan's mom at work.(and renew my drivers license) Finally Saturday came and we went Trick-or-Treating.Here we are leaving our house with the Laytons.
Up to the door,
and back again, is pretty much how the night went.
Later we headed over to the Layton's for Hot Chocolate and Cookies and then out to Allan's parent's house for treat bags. Allan liked carrying Lilly around in our treat bowl. She was the sweetest thing we came home with that night!

10 Year High School Reunion

I flew down to California for a SUPER quick weekend for my High School reunion. I was only in CA for 20 hours so I am not joking when I say quick. I stayed with one of my best friends, Natalie, it was great to spend some time with her.
Here are me and Natalie and Lisa getting ready to leave for the reunion.
Below are a couple of girls from the ward I grew up in, Jackie and Heidi.
This is one of my best friends Meghan.
These are the girls I was on Song with. Laura, Christie, Meghan, Tennille, and Janessa.
This is my friend Amanda.
These are just some of the girls, some of them I have known since I was Hailey's age! Gabby, Samantha, Natalie, me, Amy, Christie, and Christine.
After the reunion we drove past our high school and took this lovely picture. This sign was not there 10 years ago!
The next day I went out to breakfast with another one of my best friends, Beth.
Here is me with Beth and Natalie. I have had lots of fun with these girls!
It was really interesting to go and see so many people I hadn't seen in 10 years. With facebook it is a little easier to keep in touch with people, but it was really fun to see everyone and catch up a little bit. I am pretty sure 90% of them thought I was off my rocker when I said I was living in Idaho and pregnant with my 5th child! As much fun as it was, it also made me glad that I am where I am. I love living in Idaho and I love my family and neighbors and friends and I wouldn't change a thing.

GO COUGARS!!!

Somebody's happy it's football season again! Allan and I have season tickets again, for our third year in a row.
We have great seats! They come with wristbands and we go inside a tent before the game and get fed dinner and lots of treats. Here is Allan indulging at one of the chocolate fountains. They also have a white chocolate and caramel fountain, yummy!
This is the view from our seats, we are right about the 45 yard line and on the back row of the bottom bowl. I love being on the back row because it makes it easy to get in and out of our seats and there is never anyone walking in and out for things.
If you go to a game, come on over and say hi, we are easy to find, if you come out at portal PP we are right there!

Zoo Day

Our preschool had it's first field trip, we went to the zoo!

Here are Lilly and Natalie ready to go in.

This is Natalie with her friend Addy.
My little hatchling!
This is all the kids lined up on the fence, aren't they cute!Silly Natalie are you afraid of that wooden tiger?
